Abdal was born in 1967 in the village of Kani-Lenj, affiliated with the Mergasor district. He studied up to the third year of middle school. After the outbreak of the Iraq-Iran War (1980-1988), he joined the ranks of the Peshmerga as a helper and supporter of the Peshmerga. However, because Hasso Kani-Lenji, his father, was one of the commanders of the Barzan Force, he participated in the campaign to capture Mergasor in 1987.

In 1987, the Iraqi government, with the help of the Jash (collaborators), attempted to control the border areas, especially Gali Rash, because the main headquarters of the Barzan Force was located there. Therefore, before starting their campaign, they carried out heavy shelling. On July 21, 1987, within the framework of the shelling, along with Hasko Muhammad Faqi Kani-Lenji and Ali Haji Bardari, Abdal was also martyred. All three were buried in the cemetery of the village of Daryasor on the border of the Sidakan sub-district.
