Martyr Abdulla Hamedamin Ali was born in 1971 in the town of Diyana, belonging to the independent administration of Soran. He studied through primary school and was unmarried. After the uprising in South Kurdistan, in 1991 he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1995, he became a Peshmerga in the Sidekan Army and participated in battles in the Sidekan and Balakayati areas. On 16 May 1997, at the Sinin Gorge in the Sidekan area, he was martyred by a bullet from PKK militants during the battle to defend the rule of law.
