Martyr Abdullah Yusuf Abdullah Siari was born in 1963 in the village of Siari in the Barwari region, affiliated with the Kani Masi sub-district, into a patriotic Kurd family. In the 1988 Anfal campaign, he was displaced to the country of Iran, where he remained for 4 years. After the 1991 uprising, he returned to Kurdistan, and was martyred on August 16, 2016.
Struggle RecordMartyr Abdullah Yusuf Abdullah Siari became a Peshmerga in 1981 and participated in many battles, epics, and activities such as Sari Spindari, Sari Gare, Kanika, Milbirka, Sharanshi, Gire Zengil, and many other battles. In 1987, he became a Peshmerga of the Sheikhan branch committee, and in 1988 in Iran, he performed organizational work as a very active cadre.
In the 1991 uprising, he participated in many battles such as the attack on the 5th Corps of Erbil, the liberation of the cities of Kirkuk, Duhok, Zakho, Akre, and Semel. In 1992, in those battles imposed on the Kurdistan Democratic Party, as the deputy of the Gare force of Ahmed Safo Siari, he participated in the battles of Sari Pirsi, Gare, and Shash Dari.
In 1995, he became a detachment commander in the Sheikhan branch committee, and in 1997, he became the deputy of the 122nd Brigade of the 12th Army of the Duhok Command. Furthermore, the martyr commander participated in many other difficult and arduous battles such as the battle of Sari Kanika, Sidera, the battle of the village of Siari, Sari Gare and Matina, Kani Butke, Avshkhure, Merge, Kepke Ahmed Agha, Qasr, Bakuza, Sari Safini,
the battle of Dola, Balisan, Zozk and Hindrini and Rawanduz, Bardebutke, Shakha Rashi.
The martyr commander was wounded several times during his career. In 1997, he was wounded in the attack on the village of Siari. On July 12, 1998, in the village of Siari, he was wounded for the second time, and in the same year, he became the deputy of the 4th Battalion of the 12th Army. In 2000, he became the commander of the 1st Battalion of the 2nd Force of the 12th Army. In 2003, he had a good role in the battle of the liberation of Iraq in Sheikhan, Nawaran, and Mosul. In the same year, he became the commander of the 2nd Battalion of the 12th Force of the 3rd Zerevani Army, and he performed every task assigned to him in the best way within the city of Mosul and its surroundings. In the attack of the ISIS terrorists on Kurdistan, the martyr commander participated in the battle of Shalalat, as well as in the battle of liberating the villages surrounding Kaske and the attack to liberate Sinjar and Wanke, and all those attacks that the ISIS terrorists launched on the Peshmerga positions in the Nawaran axis, the Mosul plain, Sari Nawaran, Telsqof, and Shalalat. Furthermore, the martyr commander participated in the attacks on the 11 Kakai villages on August 14, 2016, and was able to control the places designated for him. The aforementioned was martyred on August 16, 2016.
