In 1991, he became a Peshmerga in the border area of Branch 2 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1993, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Students. In 1997, he received the rank of administrator of the university branch of the Kurdistan Students in Erbil. In 1997, he received the rank of cadre in Branch 2. In 2001, he received the rank of member of the organization office in the area of Branch 2. In 2004, he became a branch member. In 2005, he became the head of the Ala district committee in the area of Branch 2. In 2007, he became the head of the employees' district committee. In 2011, he became the head of the teachers' district committee. In 2012, he was elected as an administrator of Branch 2 in the party's internal conferences.

On November 6, 2022, in the Fourteenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Duhok, he was elected by the congress members as a member of the Central Committee.
