Khalid Ahmed Faqi was born in 1941 in the village of Kaneskan, part of the Khurmal sub-district of Halabja province. He was a villager and engaged in village farming.
On November 12, 1963, he became a Peshmerga in the Fifth Branch of the Khabat Battalion of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, at which time Martyr Kamal Salim was the Head of Branch of the Fifth Branch.
The group of Ibrahim Ahmed attacked the Peshmerga forces' trenches and demanded they surrender and turn against the revolution. Therefore, on September 12, 1964, in the Kew Rash trench behind the Ranya district, Khalid Ahmed Faqi and his comrades did not surrender and resisted. In that attack and confrontation, Khalid Ahmed Faqi was martyred.
