Martyr Khurshid Hassan was born in 1954 in Erbil Governorate. He was a resident of Erbil and a graduate of the intermediate stage. In 1974, he was appointed as a policeman in Erbil Governorate.
Struggle RecordKhurshid Hassan became a Peshmerga in 1976 in the Bolli Battalion, which at that time Ali Bolli was the battalion commander.
Khurshid Hassan, along with his Peshmerga duties, became a cadre in the accounting department of the Bolli Battalion. In 1977, in a confrontation with the soldiers of the then-Iraqi regime at the foothills of Mount Halgurd, he was martyred, and a comrade of his named Hassan Agha was severely wounded.
