Biography

Martyr Mustafa Muhammad Amin Abdulhamid, known as Mustafa Kesteyi, was born in the year 1952 in the village of Keste in the Barwari region to a poor and patriotic Kurd family. He finished his primary education in the village of Herore, but due to the difficult living conditions and the constant shelling of the area by the regime, he could not continue his education. In the year 1976 he became a refugee in North Kurdistan with his family and many of his relatives and settled in the Mamkhura area. At that time, his brother, the Martyr Muhammad, and his father, Mullah Muhammad Amin, were in prison for political reasons. In the year 1981 he went to Iran again with his family and settled in the Seru camp. On the 13 of March 1993 he was martyred.

Struggle

Martyr Mustafa Muhammad Amin Abdulhamid, known as Mustafa Kesteyi, became a Peshmerga in the year 1967 at the age of 15 and his name was registered with the Salim As'ad Khoshavi force in the village of Qumri. He continued his Peshmerga work until the year 1975. At the beginning of the 26 Gulan Progressive Revolution in the year 1976, Martyr Mustafa Kesteyi established a relationship with Mahmud Ezidi, became a Peshmerga, and received the rank of squad commander. In the year 1979 he was forced to become a refugee in East Kurdistan with his family and they settled in the Seru complex. Due to economic conditions, he was forced to move his family to many places such as the city of Urmia and the city of Khoy. In the year 1979 he was elected as a member of the 9 Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Zewe.

In the year 1991 he returned to the land of Kurdistan with the force of Mullah Ramazan Qumri and participated in the uprising. Later, he received the rank of organization responsible, and due to his abilities and competence, he received several ranks of responsibility and later became a force commander. In the year 1994 he became the commander of the 4 regiment affiliated with the 1 army..

On the 13 of March 1993 he was martyred.
