Raouf Hamadamin was born in Year 1946 in the Bafri Qandil neighborhood of Koya District, Erbil Governorate. He was a resident of Koya and a primary school graduate.

In Year 1963, he joined the Peshmerga Forces of the Aylul Revolution and in the battalion of Ali Askari he became a Peshmerga. Later, in Year 1964, he went to the Ahmed Haji Ali battalion under the Erbil Plain Force of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and became a Peshmerga. In Year 1965, he participated in the Battle of Mount Safin, where he was severely wounded. 

In Year 1966, Raouf Hamadamin and five of his comrades fell into an ambush by the Jalal Talabani group in the village of Qala Siwa in Chamchamal District. After a fierce confrontation between them, Raouf Hamadamin was martyred and is one of the martyrs whose grave is unknown.
