Martyr Sayfadin Adil Ashur was born in 1945 in the village of Argosh, Shirwan Mazn sub-district, Mergasor district, Erbil province. He completed his primary education in the village of Argosh and was married.
In 1961, he joined the Peshmerga forces of the Aylul Revolution and became a Peshmerga. He participated in the battles of Zozk, Handren, Sartiz, and Garu-i Omar Agha. He received the rank of platoon commander in the Balak force.
In 1991, he rejoined the Kurdistan Peshmerga Forces and became a Peshmerga in the Barzan force. On October 18, 1995, he was martyred by PKK militants in the village of Meroz, Shirwan Mazn sub-district. He was buried in the Zulfiqar cemetery in the town of Harir.
