Martyr Wiso Hemed Law, known by the name (Wiso Hemed Law), was born in 1952 in the village of Giwanî, which belongs to the Diyana sub-district of Erbil province. He was married and had two daughters and a son.

In 1968, he and his brother Ebdulwahîd established contact with the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces. He became a Peshmerga in the Seyid Asî Battalion, which was part of the Balek forces. He participated in the battles of Zozik Mountain, Sertîz, and Gerûya Omer Axa.

In 1974, after the start of the war between the Peshmerga forces and the Ba'ath Party, he once again took up the weapon of the Peshmerga and defended the land of Kurdistan. On April 17, 1974, in the battle of Gorez Mountain near the village of Balekiyan in the Diyana sub-district, he, his older brother named Ebdulwahîd Hemed Law, a cousin, and several others from his relatives were martyred.

Due to the war situation and the presence of enemy tank and artillery shelling, they could not bury the martyrs in the village of Giwan. For that reason, they were buried in the village of Sîtkan.
