Martyr Zati Ismail Muhammad Salim Argoshi was born in 1975 in Argosh village, belonging to the Sherwan Mazin subdistrict of Mergasor district in Erbil Governorate. He was married. In 1978, the Iraqi government relocated him to the forced Harir camp.
In 1991, he took part in the popular uprising of Kurdistan against the Iraqi government, established a strong relationship with the Kurdistan Peshmerga, became a Peshmerga in the Barzan Army, and took part in its battles.
He was martyred on September 10, 1995, and was buried in Zulfagari Cemetery in the town of Harir.
